The javits center is now offering green roof tours to customers interested in taking advantage of experiencing the exciting new ecosystem on manhattan s west side.

The javits center s state of the art nearly 7 acre green roof can absorb up to seven million gallons of storm water run off annually while reducing heat gain throughout the building. The javits center farm will have the city s only rooftop orchard with apples pears peaches and maybe cherries some grown in a 3 200 square foot greenhouse.
